We offer specialized treatment for depression. Our therapists are trained in a number of evidence-based treatments for depression including:

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT): CBT blends cognitive therapy with behavioral therapy. CBT focuses on identifying the reciprocal relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be contributing to and/or worsening your depression; as well as focuses on coping skills to help you combat your depressive symptoms, learn healthier coping strategies, and alter your thinking patterns to more adaptive and healthier ways of thinking.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): DBT consists of four modules that provide coping skills to build a life worth living. These modules include mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It provides you with coping skills needed to live in the present, not the past or future, manage negative emotions in a healthy manner, reduce self-destructive or impulsive behaviors, and improve your relationships with friends, family, peers/colleagues.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): EMDR helps process past traumas contributing to depression, reducing emotional distress and negative beliefs. Through bilateral stimulation and dual awareness stimulation, our therapists integrate new insights and promote healing.
